How to Register for the 45th

2022 Orwell Challenge

Sunday 19th of June 2022

Online registration for this year’s Orwell Challenge is now open. We highly advise you to register online, as it speeds up the signing in process on the day and ensures that you receive a commemorative medal and  a t-shirt — should you choose to buy one when you sign up for the walk (all marathon and half marathon runners receive one, included in their entry fee).

Sign up on the day is possible, however, be prepared to wait for a while, as we first need to process the people who signed up online. If you choose to sign up on the day, we cannot guarantee that you will receive a medal or that there will be enough t-shirts available for purchase.

Registration is easy. You will need to enter your full contact details (you can read our privacy policy here), and make the payment online. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful subscription (please keep an eye on your spam folder).

Important notes for online sign up:

1- If you have created an account to sign up in the past, you do not have to create a new one. Simply login using your previous details (or follow the procedure to reset your password if you’ve forgotten).

2- If you started the registration process but didn’t finish, you can find what you already filled in on your profile on the left sidebar, it displays as Trading >  My order.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Entry Fees:

WALK Standard Discount*
Children (12 years and under)
MARATHON Standard Discount*

HALF MARATHON Standard Discount*

Our event is open to all. If you would like to use it to raise funds for a chosen charity or good cause, that’s great  please let us know. Should you wish to take part but you’re unsure about which charity to support, don’t worry, your entry fee is already supporting the Ipswich East Rotary Club. As a registered charity, every penny we receive from participants will be redirected to one or more of the many charities we regularly support, including: FIND (Families in Need), Suffolk Family Carers, East Anglian Children’s Hospices (EACH), Teenage Cancer Trust, MacMillan, SARS (Suffolk Accident Rescue Service), and Guide Dogs for the Blind.

If you wish to support the Ipswich East Rotary Club even further, then please contact us.
